Business models for upcoming mobility solutions are complex to evaluate due to challenging environments with lots of parameters influencing the systems. The same applies for the development of autonomous systems, e.g. automated vehicles. Ensuring the functional safety of systems operating with a high degree of autonomy in an open world is currently one of the most challenging tasks of the automotive industry.
