Increased energy costs are a major cost driver in daily operations for automated logistics and warehouse systems with mobile robots.
Solution
A digital twin was used for the mobile robot and its operating environment. This allowed optimal deployment scenarios to be efficiently determined in the simulation and applied to the operation of the robots in daily use.
